Ambalpady Shri Mahakalijanardhana Temple Trustee Dr. N. B. Vijaya Ballal presided over the function and in his presidential address he said that when parents tell their children about the importance of Bhajane and Sathsangha children can grow in good culture.

Udyavara: Political Party is for serving the community and not for business
Udyavara, 23 March 2011: “Political party is built not for business but for serving the community, this needs to be understood by all the BJP party men and united all should work” said BJP state President K. S. Eshwarappa. He was speaking upon inaugurating the conference of BJP Shankthi Kendra leaders organized by Bharathiya Janatha Party on Sunday at Udyavara Hafsa Sabha Bhavana.
“Any common party person who is non corrupt and do not make bias, BJP will extend complete support to him to make him a elected representative. But if anyone who gets elected with the support and hard work of the party men and then gets into corruption during their administration time it will bring bad name to the entire party”, he expressed his concern.
Further he requested saying that “at Booth level honest party men and officers to be chosen. All party men must pledge that, in future also they will choose honest MLA and MP”. He also said that there is no place in BJP for persons opposing the party. Anyone who is in activities against the party at any time do not have a place in BJP party. Already 16 MLA’s are thrown out of the party. Persons leaving and coming out from the crooked politics will be always welcomed by the party.
Eshwarappa said “places such as Grama Panchayath, Taluk Panchayath, Jilla panchayath, City Corporation and other such places are in need of honest representatives such as Ataljee and Advanijee. When Alaljee was Prime Minister he never borrowed any loans from other countries, instead he repaid the backlog loans and also cleared the mort gauged gold and saved the country” and praised them. He also said that Udupi and South Kenara are leading in unity and are an role model to the state of Karnataka.
