Annual Sports Meet of Jnanaganga PU College, concludes

Udupi, 04 Dec 2016: The annual sports meet of Jnanaganga PU College, Moodubelle, near here was held on Wednesday, November 30.

 

Udupi district pre-university education sports co-ordinator Sridar Shetty accepted the guard of honour during the march fast and congratulated the students who are selected for state level sports meet.

 

The state athletes Jeevan, Poojasri, Renuka, Viola, Subramanya, Pavan, Abhilash and Sudarshan brought the sports torch to the sports ground.

 

 

GIC Co-operative Society chairman Umesh Nayak inaugurated the sports meet.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Umesh laid emphasis on sports that is essential for the students to have their all-round growth.

 

Belle gram panchayat former president Rajendra Shetty conveyed best wishes for the students to excel in sports and to bring laurels to the education institution in national meet.

 

The College students’ leader Viola administered the oath to the participants. The English lecturer Srinivas Bhat compered the programme. The College principal U L Bhat welcomed the gathering. The physical education director Raghu proposed vote of thanks.

 

 

The chief guests Nellikatte entrepreneur Nagaraj Kamat and philanthropist Mohini Pai distributed the prizes to the winners during the valedictory function.
