Puttur, 10 Sep 2016: St Philomena Pre-University College, here will be organizing daylong District level talent contest ‘Pratibha - 2016’ for High School students at College auditorium on Wednesday September 14.
This competition consists of clay modeling, quiz, science model, folk dance, best-out-of-waste, pencil sketch, product launching, seminar presentation and collage making.
The inaugural ceremony will be held on Wednesday at 9.30am. Professor Vivek Ranjan Bhandary, campus director, Vivekananda College of Engineering, here will inaugurate and participate as the chief guest.
Professor Leo Noronha, principal, St Philomena College here and Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, campus director and chairperson for PG Studies, St Philomena College, here will be the guests of honor.
Fr Gerald D’Souza, secretary, Catholic Board of Education, Mangaluru diocese will preside the function.
The valedictory and prize distribution ceremony will be held at 3.30pm. Oswald Rodrigues, headmaster, St Philomena High School, here will participate as the chief guest. Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro will preside.
Fr Vijay Lobo, principal and Prashanth Bhat P, chief co-ordinator anticipates the participation of more than 25 teams in various events.
