Palli: Sincerity with God, Teacher and Country, can create a cultured Society

Palli, 10 March 2011: “When we make use of the true knowledge and intelligence to achieve wisdom, we progress. If the attitude and the practices are in accordance with the religion and are regular, the spiritual strength grows. The service done with honesty and sincerity will result in punya. The prayers that are offered with sincerity with God, Teacher and Country, can create a cultured Society” said Yati Shrimad Saraswati Swami Maharaj of Shri Sansthana Gowdapadacharya Kaivalya Mutt.

 

 

He was speaking upon giving the Asheerwachana in the religious function organized on the occasion of Shri Kshethra Palli Adapadi Shri Durgaparameshwari Temple Punha Prathista Astabandha Brahma Kumbhabhisheka Mahothsawa, Chandiyaga. He also said that the development work taken place here is the witness to the powerful presence of Shiva and Shakthi in this Sangama Center Adapadi Punya Kshethra.

 

Udupi MLA K. Raghupathi Bhat presided over the function and in his presidential address he said that Shri Kshethra Adapadi is the Jagratha Kendra of the powers of Godess which can convert the non believers into believers. The devotees on their own will contributed into the development of this place even before and development project, which is the first such kind in the whole Karnataka state. This development in a very short period itself is a proof of the selfless service of Darmadarshi Pundalika Nayak in this Kshethra.

 

M. Gokuldas Nayak from Udupi City Corporation, Udupi Jilla Panchayath President Katapadi Shankara Poojary, Entrepreneur Kaduhole Balakrishna Nayak were the Chief Guests of the program. Dharmadarshi Pundalika Nayak and Archaka Vinod Bhat Swameeji were honoured on the occasion. Devotees of the Kshethra Surendra Shetty, Gangadhara Samanth, Umesh Nayak honoured the guests with flower garlands.

 

Annayya Nayak Patla in his speech made the introduction of the Kshethra and welcomed the gathering. Udupi Jilla Assistant Commissioner Sadashiva Prabhu Kundapura and Pangala Rabhindra Nayak were present on the occasion. B. Pundalika Marathe compeered the program. Balakrishna Prabhu Manipal proposed vote of thanks.

 

Religious programs were conducted which were led by Vedamurthy Lakshmipura Mragesh Bhat and Vedamurthy Dayanamada Bhat kalladka. Various cultural and entertainment programs; “Harikathe” by Kumari Prathima Kudoor Hosanagara, performances by Jagadish Shivapura of Junior Rajkumar fame, young artist Kumari Sahana Kulai, popular mimicry artist Pattabhiram Sulya were performed. Saligrama Mela performed Yakshagana Bayalata.
