Uppinangady: Tanker overturns injuring driver

Uppinangady, 09 2011: A driver of a bullet tanker suffered severe injuries when his speedy vehicle overturned on National Highway 48 at Bedrodi near here.

 

The injured has been identified as Kullan Devi (22), hailing from Tamil Nadu.  He was rushed to the Puttur government hospital for emergency treatment.

 

 

Huge damage was caused to the tanker which was moving towards Bangalore from Mangalore carrying liquefied petroleum gas. The accident also resulted in traffic jam for at least an hour.

 

 

Puttur traffic police has registered a case.
