Udupi, 09 Aug 2016: Vishwasadamane, orphanage at Shankerpura, near here reunited a destitute youngster from Andhra Pradesh with his family on Sunday August 8.
Vishwasadamane chief functionary Pastor Sunil John D’Souza and his staff picked up a destitute youth named Pratap who was wondering along NH 66 at Katpady, near here on June 3, 2016. He was bathed and given a new dress, fed properly for a few days to recover his physical health. He was treated by psychiatrist for his mental ailments and gradually he recovered his total well being. He shared his home address with the staff who wrote a letter but it was returned for improper address. After a few days, he again gave his home address and the staff wrote a letter that reached the addressee who is his brother, a lawyer by profession.
His brother Sudhakar arrived from Narasimhapete, Andhra Pradesh at Vishwasadamane on Sunday August 7, to take home his prodigal brother who went missing since August 2, 2015. Sudhakar said that Pratap is the youngest son among 6 children who has done B Sc and was employed as a teacher in a primary school at Narasimhapete, Andhra Pradesh. He had gone missing since August 2, 2015 and a complaint has been lodged at Narasimhapete police and was not traced. But they were hopeful of finding their brother some day. Sudhakar was happy to take home his brother Pratap along with him and thanked Vishwasadamane for restoring his wellbeing.
