Sharjah: Indian Striker bag United Cup - 2015 in men’s volleyball tourney

Sharjah, 03 Dec 2015: Indian Strikers won men’s volleyball tourney of United Cup – 2015 that was organized by Events 306 at Wanderers Sports Club stadium, here. Mangalore Konkans won throw ball tourney in both men’s and women’s division. Namma Kudla won mix throw ball men’s division, while Karkala Kings won in women’s division.

 

Indian Strikers defeated ACE Striker in volleyball final to win United Cup – 2015.

Namma Kudla won the Cup by defeating Kundapura Tigers in mix throw ball men’s division, while Karkala Kings defeated Kundapura Tigers to win the Cup in women’s division.

 

Earlier, Dubai – Acme Building Materials LLC managing director and well known singer Harish Sherigar, entrepreneurs Gerald Lobo and Ramanand Shetty, Karnataka Sangha – Abu Dhabi president Sarvottam Shetty inaugurated the tournament by releasing doves and balloons into the sky.

 

The entrepreneur Gerald Lobo and Ramanand Shetty, Karnataka Sangha – Abu Dhabi president Sarvottam Shetty and Walter were present during valedictory function and distributed the prizes to the winners.

 

The tournament convener Vinod welcomed the gathering.

 

ACE Strikers player Avinash Shetty adjudged best striker of volleyball tourney, while Indian Striker player Riyaz adjudged Best Setter and Indian Striker player Sunil adjudged Best All-rounder.

 

Mangalore Konkans player Irene adjudged Best Striker in women’s divisi0on of throw ball, while Bunts Dubai player Shruti Shetty adjudged Best Defender and Mangalore Konkans player Zain adjudged Best All-rounder.

 

Coastal Striker player Allen adjudged Best Striker in men’s throw ball, while Mangalore Konkans player Kheth adjudged Best Defender and Mangalore Konkans player Rijoy adjudged Best All-rounder.
