Kuwait: Bellevision Kuwait organizes first-ever Family Picnic at Mishref Garden

Kuwait, 09 Nov 2015: The Bellevision Kuwait organized their first outdoor event called ‘Family Picnic’ at Mishref garden here on Friday November 6.

 

Though there were unusual rains for the past few days their patron St Lawrence blessed with a pleasant day and didn’t allow the rains to play the spoil sport. There were about 125 plus crowd consists of member’s families and their friends.

 

The event started around 11.30am with prayer led by Marian Fernades.  The vice president Stephen Castelino briefed about inception of Bellevision.

 

The president Stany Martis welcomed the gathering.

 

Kanajar parishioner Lawrence Saldanha was the chief guest who shared his views for the success of Bellevision Kuwait.

 

 

The day-long event had various games like bombing the city, sack race, breaking the pot, housi-housi for the children as well as for adults which gave an opportunity to all the gathered to participate and have fun.

 

The entire programme was very well organized by the Committee members.   The response from the gathering was overwhelming which gave an indication that all the belleians wants to see more of such events which brings all of them together as one family where they can meet their near and dear one and share their views.

 

Grace before meal is recited by Prianna Menezes. Thereafter, everyone enjoyed the delicious lunch prepared by PPS Caterers.

 

The event concluded at 5.30pm with a vote of thanks by treasurer Vincent Fernades and all gathered were dispersed with a smiling faces.
