Udupi: ICYM Moodubelle help out in a reconstruction of house of a family as a noble cause

Moodubelle, 08 Nov 2015: ICYM Moodubelle belongs to St. Lawrence Parish Moodubelle  is one of the most active youth organization in the region involving in many social and charitable noble causes. Their helping hand at church activities is notable and commendable.

 

ICYM Moodubelle members recently organized a Food Festival and Traditional games for helping out for the Mission Sunday cause and it was indeed a great success.  The Moodubelle community is always appreciable their work.

 

Next Sunday they have organized Rabies Day wherein the dogs of the Moodubelle region will be inoculated with Rabies Vaccination which is a very much safety issue.

 

There are many notable and charitable causes in which ICYM is regularly involved and throughout the year they are actively involved in noble causes.  One of them was to help out a poor family in Moodubelle on Sunday the 8th of November 2015 for the re-construction of their house which badly needed support from ICYM members.

 

 

ICYM Moodubelle in the guidance of St. Vincent de Paul society members helped out one of the financially week background family in the reconstruction of their old house near Nellikatte Village.

 

All ICYM members started the journey from the St. Lawrence Church Moodubelle with the blessings and best wishes from Rev. Fr. Clement Mascarenhas (Parish Priest) at 9.0am  They reached the site at about 9.30 am and  straight way began the work of roof removal (Tiles) which was completed before 11.30 am.

 

This was indeed a great experience to all the members who participated in the social work. .It will also always remembered with the happy feeling of helping out someone who really in need of help from ICYM members and it was a different and  new experience to ICYM members which will eventually lead to great success in future.

 

The house owner and his family were indeed grateful to ICYM members and one could see the smile and happiness in their faces when the job was completed successfully which also a most memorable moment for ICYM members to be cherished for a long time.
