Poorna Nayak felicitated for securing third rank in SSLC in the Udupi District

Poorna Nayak, presently studying in First Year PU Science was felicitated by the Kannada Abhivruddhi Pradhikarana, Karnataka Government at Hassan on 23rd January 2011 for securing third rank in the  SSLC  Examination in the Udupi District in the academic year 2010-2011.

 

 

For her excellent achievement, Poorna Nayak was felicitated by giving her Rs.6,000/- cash prize with a certificate, a medal, books, watch, bag and transport allowance of Rs.1,200/-

 

In the SSLC Examination, Poorna Nayak had scored  125 out of 125 marks in Kannada. The principal and staff members of the institution have conveyed their congratulations to Poorna Nayak for  bringing laurels to St. Lawrence PU College and honour to her family.

 

Construction of Compound Wall to the Play-ground

 

As one of the projects of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of St. Lawrence High School (2009), the compound wall to the playground of St. Lawrence Composite PU College is being constructed. The work of this project is already in progress.

 

 

It has been planned to close the entire playground and the campus either by a wall or by barbed wire fence. Together with this work the track laying and court preparation work has to be undertaken. Well-wishers and donors are welcome to contribute to this project.
