Karkal: Rotary Club confers National Building Teacher Award to Namita Kumari

Karkal, 04 Oct 2015: Namita Kumari, teacher of Government Model Higher Primary School, Bajagoli, near here was conferred Nation Building Teacher Award to by Rotary Club International (RCI), during the function held at Hotel Prakash – Sambrama hall, here on Sunday October 4.

 

 

RCI – Karkal president Chandrashekar Hegde, Ann’s Club president Vrunda Shetty and Rotary district assistant governor and public relations district president B Pundalika Marate Shirva presented Nation Building Award to Namita Kumari and also felicitated the National Best Teacher Award recipient Vasanti R Joshi on the occasion.
 
Rotary literacy mission speaker Shivanand, Anantakrishna Achar, Parshvanat Varma introduced the dignitaries. The secretary Padmaprasad Jain proposed vote of thanks. Arun Shetty, Naveen Shetty, Dr Venkatagiri Rao and Soujanya Upadhyaya sponsored the programme.
 
Variety entertainment programmes were staged on the occasion.
