Udupi: Accidents in Manipal and Udupi

Udupi, 21 January 2011: In a road accident at Manipal on Thursday one youth died.  Anuragh Singh (23) was going in a bike from Manipal Sydicate circle to End Point and on his way he rammed into the electric pole. With the impact he had serious injury to his chest. He was taken to hospital but that did not save him. Singh is originally from Ranchi and was a student of Manipal Institute of Technology and was to go back to his native place on Saturday.

 

 

In a separate accident at Udupi, a couple were injured. Residents of Mission compound Anand Ganiga and his wife were going on a walk on Wednesday near Biloor. At that time one Santro car hit them and both were injured. They are admitted to the hospital.
