Jnanaganga PU College, Moodubelle bags 1st place in Kho-Kho

Udupi, 6 Sep 2015: Jnanaganga PU College, Nellikatte, Moodubelle, near here in association with PU education department organized taluk level kho-kho tournament at the College grounds here on Saturday September 5.

 

Belle gram panchayat president Ranjani Hegde inaugurated the tourney by breaking a coconut on the occasion.

 

Jnanaganga PU College governing council chairman Suresh Shetty presided the programme. Shirva sub-inspector Ashok P and tourney organizer Chandrashekar were present.

 

The College principal U L Bhat presided the valedictory function here on Saturday evening.

 

 

Niranjan Rao Belle, Kukkikatte entrepreneur Suresh Rao, Brahmavar – SMS College physical education director Satyanarayan Nayak, Poornaprajna College physical education director Chandrashekar Hegde were the chief guests distributed the prizes to the winners.

 

Nine teams have participated in the tourney.  Jnanaganga PU College bagged the first place, while Hindu PU College, Shirva were the runner in boy’s division.

 

Government Girls PU College, Udupi bagged the first place and Poornaprajna College were the runner up in girls division.
