Mangaluru: Bajjodi parish ICYM unit organizes Inter-Parish Konkani Singing Contest

Mangaluru, 17 Aug 2015: ICYM unit of Infant Mary parish, Bajjodi, here in collaboration with ICYM city deanery organized inter-parish singing competitions, to mark Konkani Manyata Dees.

 

Fr George Crasta, city deanery ICYM director was the chief guest of the inaugural programme.

 

Fr Shabas Crasta, the parish priest of Infant Mary parish, Fr Jossy, ICYM director of Bajjodi unit, Clanute Lobo, president and Rainish D’Souza, secretary of Bajjodi ICYM unit were also present.

 

There was active participation from different parishes. Lancy Moras and Maxim Pereira were the jurors of the event. Godwin Rasquinha, the main sponsor of the event felicitated the winners. Jonita and David compered the programme.
