Udupi: ICYM Pamboor holds Yuva Sangam in memory of Joy, Maxim, Lavina, John & Steven

Udupi, 15 Jul 2015: ICYM unit of Pamboor parish, near here organized Yuva Sangam on Sunday July 12 morning, in memory of Joy, Maxim, Lavina, John and Steven who were ICYM members passed away in a tragedy a few years ago at their prime youth.

 

Pamboor parish priest Fr Paul Rego presided the programme.

 

Fr Paul urged the youth to be active, dynamic and vibrant to face the challenges of life ahead.

 

The deacon Joel Noronha who is serving at the parish was the chief guest.

 

Pamboor parish council vice president Prakash Noronha and secretary Asuntha D’Souza, ICYM animator Lucas D’Souza were present at the dais.

 

The family members of Joy, Maxim, Lavina, John and Steven, ICYM deanery president Avil D’Souza and ICYM diocesan president Derrick Mascarenhas were present.

 

 

The programme started with the prayer service.

 

The resource persons Alwyn Danti spoke on Vision of youth and Grynal D’Mello spoke on Youth leadership, in order to motivate ICYM members to face their life ahead.  

 

After the lunch break Roshan Sequeira of Kuntalnagar parish conducted games.

 

ICYM unit president Anil Martis welcomed the gathering. The secretary Josna Menezes proposed the vote of thanks. Lester Sequeira compered the programme.
