Udupi, 05 Jul 2015: Yoga can keep in check diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, obesity, depression, joint ache, both physical and mental ailments. One can lead healthy life by following daily regime of yoga, said yoga instructor Umanand Shenoy of Manipal.
Shenoy was the resource person speaking during the valedictory function of weeklong yoga camp that was organized by Patanjali Yoga Samaja Seva Sangha® Shirva, near here at Mahalasa Narayani temple, Kashi mutt, Shirva, here on Sunday July 5.
The veteran chef of the temple Keshavmam was felicitated on the same occasion.
Udupi’s renowned veins expert Suresh Bhakta said that one can be disease-free by energizing the veins.

The camp convener Anantaraya Shenoy, the temple priest Raghuram Shenoy, Sudhakar Marla, Melvyn Aranha, Lancy Korda, Mahila Mandali president Babita Aras, Shivanand Kamat, Sripati Kamat, Dr Arun Hegde, Ravindra Patkar were present at the dais.
