Singer Rony D’Cunha honored by QAKCA, Kuwait

Kuwait, 08 January 2011: It was a great occasion for the people of Konkani community and the people of Ahmadi Parish in Kuwait as Rony D’Cunha, the famous singer was awarded with the “Global Konkani Music Award-2010” in Male Category by Mandd Sobhann during the first World Konkani Cultural Convention.

 

To honor him The Queen of Arabia Konkani Community of Ahmadi (QAKCA) had organized a felicitation program on the 7th of January 2011 after the 11 AM Konkani Mass.

 

 

Stephen Sequeira, Secretary of QAKCA gave a brief introduction about Rony’s career and achievements as a singer.

 

Fr. John Harry D’Souza OFM Cap., presented Rony D’Cunha and his family with a floral bouquet and a memento on behalf of QAKCA.
