Udupi: Jnanaganga PU College, Nellikatte felicitated II PUC distinction holders

Udupi, 11 June 2015: Jnanaganga Pre-University College, Nellikatte, near here organized the felicitation of II PUC  distinction holders here on Wednesday June 10. 

 

Rotary Club – Manipura president Camil Sequeira inaugurated the programme.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Sequeira said that Jnanaganga is the treasure trove that lights knowledge. It’s an ever flowing river. One got to serve others after gaining knowledge. Home is the first classroom. One should be grateful to parents at all times, said Sequeira.

 

 

Suresh Shetty in his presidential address said that Jnanaganga PU College that was started with just 27 students 5 years ago now has over 220 students. Its focused on all round growth of students has been excelling in studies. He congratulated the students and lecturers in this regard. 

 

Shetty also honored 19 students passed in the recently held II PUC exam with distinctions on the same occasion.

 

The College principal U L Bhat welcomed the gathering. The chemistry lecturer Smita compered the programme. The mathematics lecturer Reshma proposed vote of thanks.
