World Environment Day observed at DK District Prison

Mangaluru, 06 Jun 2015: DK district legal services Authority, in association of Bar Association and district prison observed World Environment Day at the district prison premises, here on Friday June 5.

 

 

The senior civil judge and DK district legal services Authority secretary Ganesh inaugurated the programme by planting a tree at district prison premises, here on Friday.

 

DK district home guards Commandant Dr Murali Mohan Chuntoor, district prison superintendent B T Obaleshappa, environmentalist Madhav, Bar Association president S P Chengappa, sowed the seeds at the premises.

 

The prison inmates also actively participated in the programme.
