Mangaluru: City Airport customs seize 464.800 gms of gold concealed in suitcase handle

Mangaluru, 02 Jun 2015: The customs officers at the Mangaluru International Airport seized 464.800 grams (net weight) of gold in the form of silver color paint coated suitcase handle buckle holders and round button shaped objects, brought by concealing in the stroller suitcase carried as accompanied baggage by the passenger Ubaid Bare Hassainar, resident of Mangad, Kasargod district, who arrived at Mangaluru International Airport on Monday June 1 by Jet Airways flight number 9W401 from Abu Dhabi.
