Mangaluru: CAFS opens Pandhal Cake Shop, first retail outlet

Mangaluru, 25 May 2015: Pandhal Cake Shop, a unit of Casino Air Caterers and Flight Services (CAFS), Kenjar, here, the high profile boutique cake shop, with international standard products of breads, cakes and pastries opened at Bejai main road, here on Monday May 25 morning.
The city-based Mohtisham Complexes Private Limited managing director S M Arshad inaugurated Pandhal Cake Shop in the presence of CAFS and CGH Earth, pioneers in in-flight catering and renowned tourism brand in South India - managing director George Dominic, COO Rajan, CAFS – Kenjar, Mangaluru unit head Francis Aranha and others.
CAFS – Kenjar chiefs C Gunasekar and Abraham, staff were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, George Dominic said that CAFS opened its first cake shop in the city and gauges the response from Mangaloreans. It has further plans to open many shops in different localities, said Dominic.
Rajan said that it’s the outlet of exotic bread prepared from fresh cream rather than butter. It will have multi-grain bread for health conscious customers etc. More outlets will be launched depending on the success of their first cake shop in the city.
Pandhal Cake Shop offers daily freshly baked breads, cakes and pastries, manufactured at its HACCP certified state-of-art flight kitchen at Kenjar, here under hygienic and secure environment.
The cake shop is specialized in artisan European breads and authentic gateaux and desserts.
Besides daily fresh bakes, the cake shop offers personalized gifts for festivals, corporate gifting and giveaways to mark anniversaries, launches and other important occasions.
Thomas George and Thomas George Junior became the first customers at the inaugural.
