Moodubelle, 24 December 2010: The Syndicate Branch of Moodubelle kept up the tradition of celebrating Christmas along with the customers on Friday, 24th December 2010 at 4.30pm. K. Santosh Kamath, General Manager, Regional office, Udupi was the Chief Guest. Other guests included, Fr. Paul Sequeira, principal of St. Lawrence Composite PU College, Raphael Aranha, headmaster of Church aided Higher Primary School, Frederick D’Souza, Founder Manager of the Syndicate Bank Branch at Moodubelle, Radhakrishnan and Manager of Syndicate Bank branch at Manipura . uite a number of customers also graced teh occasion.
The brief programme began with Fr. Paul Sequeira lighting the lamp in front of the well decorated crib prepared by the bank staff in front of the entrance. Other guests also joined Fr. Paul Sequeira in lighting the lamp. In his Christmas Message, Fr. Paul Sequeira said that Jesus Christ came into this world proclaiming peace to the world. He was born in a manger symbolizing poverty and humility. He appreciated the service of the Syndicate Bank in Moodubelle which serves its customers well without distinction of caste and creed.
The Chief Guest, K. Santosh Kamath in his brief message said that while he was serving in Goa he used to visit the church on the occasion of Christmas. He lauded the practice introduced by the Syndicate bank Branch at Moodubelle in celebrating Christmas with all its customers.
The Manager of Moodubelle Syndicate Bank, Shankar Patwal proposed the vote of thanks. Suresh, the assistant manager compeered the programme. All the customers present on this occasion were served cake and snacks.
