Udupi: ’Hasiru Utsava 2015’ organized to educate students about environment

Udupi, 12 Apr 2015: The Post Graduate Social Work Department along with Shri Ayyanna Higher Primary School Padukalatthur and Kuthyaru Grama Panchayat organized “Hasiru Utsava 2015” in Shri Annayya Higher Primary School on 10 and 11 April 2015 in order to promote awareness among the students about the environment and its protection.

 

The inaugural function on 10 April at 10 am was attended by  Pravin K-umar Gurme, Vice President Kuthyar Grama Panchayat, Prof. V N Rajan-Princi-pal of St. Mary’s College, Shirva, Diwakar D Shetty and Mrs. Mary Pinto-Members of Kuthyar Grama Panchayat, Sr Rita Fernandes Superior of Maria Niwas Convent,- Mrs. Shashikala N- Shri Ayyanna Higher Primary School, Vignesh Holla-Lecturer, MSW, St. Mary’s College, Shirva.

 

 

The valedictory function was held on 11 April at 3.30 pm. Mrs. Roopa Acharya-President of Kuthyaru Grama Panchayat, Miss Ashalatha-PDO, Kuthyaru, Premnath Poojary-lecturer of Dr. G Shankar Govt. Women’s College, Ajjarakadu, Mrs. Shashikala N- Shri Ayyanna Higher Primary School,- Mrs. Laxmi Acharya,- Coordinator of MSW were present.
