Udupi: Corp Bank, Kattingeri Branch celebrates 5th anniversary

Udupi, 13 Mar 2015: Corporation Bank, Kattingeri banch, near here celebrated its fifth anniversary on Friday March 13, coinciding with 110th anniversary of Corporation Bank Founder’s Day.

The senior-most branch customers Laxman Nayak and Chandrakant Rao C H, along with branch manager Shantha Naik inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and garlanding the portrait of Bank founder Khan Bahadur Haji Abdullah Haji Kasim Saheb Bahadur here on  Friday morning.

 

 

Shantha briefed on the progress made by the branch in its endeavor, in the course of last 4 years. She said, ‘The branch has crossed Rs 13 crore in deposits and Rs 8 crore in advances with the active support of all the customers of the branch.’

The assistant branch manager Vatsala Kamath high lighted the special performance of the bank in bringing in about 600 more new customers during the PMJDY campaign and urged all those PMJDY beneficiaries to collect their respective Rupay cards from the branch at the earliest to get the advantages of the scheme.

 

Staff members Harshitha, Jyothlakshmi and Vasanti were present on the occasion. Krishnaraj Ballal, staff member welcomed the gathering. Vatsala Kamath proposed vote of thanks.
