Kuwait: Kunjal Friends won the Salmiya Volleyball tournament

Kuwait, 14 December 2010: Salmiya Friends Kuwait, organized its annual Volleyball Tournament on 10th of December 2010 at Salmiya play grounds, Salmiya, Kuwait. In this exiting tournament 10 teams were participated. They are - Bayan Salmiya, Bombay Boys, Century Salmiya, Kanajar Friends, Kunjal Friends, Noronha Brothers, Rangers, Salmiya Friends A, Salmiya Friends B, Salmiya United.

Mr. Arun D’Souza, Mr. Ivan Lobo & Mr. Ramesh Poojary compered the tournament. Kunjal Friends defeated Salmiya friends A & won the championship.

 

Results are as follows:

Winners – Kunjal Friends
Runners up – Salmiya Friends A
Best team – Century Salmiya
Best Smasher - Majid
Best Lifter – Melwyn Rebello
Best All rounder – Sunny Mathew

 

Referees for this tournament were Mr. Naveen Mascarenhas, Mr. Melwyn Rebello, Mr.Sunny Mathias, Mr. Walty Ranger, Mr.Faisal & Mr. Wilfred Castelino.
