Uchchila: Students of St. Lawrence English Medium High School Bring More Honours

Uchchila, Kaup, 14 December 2010: The Udupi Taluk Level  “Prathibha Karanji” Competitions were held at  Sri. Mahalaxmi English Medium  School, Uchichila on 2nd and 3rd of December 2010. In these competitions the students of St. Lawrence English Medium High School, Moodubelle, secured 1st place in Tulu Skit and 3rd place in Kannada Skit (High School Section), 2nd and 3rd places in Arabic Patana (Primary and Higher Primary Section).

 

 

Earlier the inter school competitions of Padu Alevoor and Volakadu clusters "Pratibha Karanji" were held at the St. Lawrence Educational Institutions on 23 November 2010 and St. Lawrence English Medium High School students actively participated and won total 28 prizes. In 11 competitions they won the first prizes and were selected for the Taluk level Prathibha Karanji competitions. In the 9 competitions they won the second prizes and in other 8 competitions they won the third prizes.

 

The main aim of the Pratibha Karanji has been to identify the various talents latent among the students and provide them an opportunity to manifest these talents.
