Kuwait, 04 Feb 2015: The countdown has begun for the fifteenth year anniversary celebration of Kanajar Welfare Association Kuwait (KWAK) that will be held at American International School (AIS)] Auditorium, Maidan Hawalli, here on Friday February 13 at 4.30pm.
The evening has been planned with melodious songs sung by Golden Voice of Konkani fame Ronnie D’Cunha alongside his wife Jasmine D’Cunha, Gulf Voice of Mangalore 2014 winner Morvine Quadras and budding child singer Sarah Lobo.
KWAK kids will also present mesmerizing dances on the same occasion. Desi Strikers - popularly known for their theme dances, and Dancing Angels group of talented dancers will also enthrall with their fast track dances.
The highlight of the programme will be Konkani comedy play ‘Maka Nangi’ by playwright Pradeep Barboza Paladka and directed by Edward D’Souza Kanajar which will be staged by KWAK artistes and other local artistes.
Fr Alexander Lewis, parish priest of Our Lady of Lourdes, Kanajar will grace this occasion.
The proceeds of the show will be donated to Snehalaya Psycho Social Rehabilitation Centre, Mangalore and a certain sum will be donated to Manasa Rehabilitation Centre, Pamboor, Udupi.
