Udupi: Eye checkup Camp by Photographers Association and Prasad Netralaya

Udupi, 06 December 2010: South Kenara Photographars Association (S.K.P.A) ® D.K – Udupi, Udupi Region and Prasad Netralaya, Udupi jointly organized free Eye Testing camp at Prasad Netralaya, Udupi on Sunday 05th December 2010 at evening 03.00 pm.

 

The inaugural function was presided over by Shreedhar Shettygar – President of  S.K.P.A  Udupi Region and Dr. Krishana Prasad – Eye Specialist, Prasad Netralaya Udupi. Chief Guests of the function were, Raghuram Rao, Dr. Nityananda Nayak – Eye Specialist Prasad Netralaya Udupi, Janardhana Kodavoor – News Paper Photographer Vijaya Karnataka, K. Vasudev Rao – Vice President S.K.P.A. Central Committee and Raghav Padmashali - Hon. President S.K.P.A Udupi.

 

 

Dr. Prasad spoke on the occasion and said that “S.K.P.A. is organizing a new program every month. Eye is most important to the photographers. There is more work load on their eyes and hence their eye muscles tend to work more. Therefore, they will usually have more eye problems”. He also said that those who have Blood Pressure, Diabetics and Glaucoma will be treated free of cost.

 

Dhananjay Poojary – Secretary of S.K.P.A Udupi welcomed the guests and the gathering. The program was compeered and also the vote of thanks was proposed by Raghavendra Serigara - Member of  S.K.P.A. Udupi.  The prayers were offered by Laxminarayana Upadyaya - Member of  S.K.P.A  Udupi.
