Udupi: ICYM Pamboor organizes Christmas Tree Competition

Udupi, 22 Dec 2014: ICYM unit of Holy Cross parish, Pamboor, near here organized Christmas Tree competition in order to unite parishioners on Sunday December 21.

 

Pamboor parish priest Fr Paul Rego, parish council vice president Prakash Noronha and secretary Asuntha D’Souza, ICYM animator Lucas D’Souza were present.

 

A small prayer service was held by Fr Paul Rego at the beginning. Loyal D’Souza explained the rules. The competition started on Sunday at 3:05pm. All the 14 wards of the parish partaken in the competition that was of three-hour duration.

 

 

Fr Paul Rego and Wilson Machado Shirva were the jurors of the competition.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Wilson appreciated the efforts of the parishioners and ICYM members.

 

ICYM president Reshma Mendonca welcomed the gathering. Trina Mathias proposed vote  of thanks.
