Kuwait: NWAK organizes annual get-together at Mishref Gardens

Kuwait, 18 Nov 2014: Navachethana Welfare Association Kuwait (NWAK) organized an annual out-door get-together at Mishref garden, here on Friday November 14.  Over 500 people including children participated in the get-together.

 

NWAK president Ashok Kumar, vice president J K Alva, NRI Forum president Pascal Pintoa and Hassan Yusuf symbolically inaugurated the event by lighting the torch here on Friday at 10.30am.

 

The breakfast stall was put up by PPS Caterers. Delicious lunch was served by Banana Leaf Restaurant, Salmiyah, here.

 

 

A number of games - Kabaddi, volleyball, throw ball, shot-put, musical chair, breaking the pot, tug-of-war, ball throwing, sack-race, housie game for children and adults were organized throughout the day and prizes were distributed to all the winners.

 

The daylong fun-filled event comprised games, entertainment and prize galore, thoroughly enjoyed by adults and children. The event was a huge success and NWAK thanked all the participants, volunteers and sponsors who assisted in organizing and conducting the events.

 

Caesars Group, Carol Builders, Malabar Gold, Banana Leaf Restaurant, Green Land, TVS, Classic plaza group of companies, Gulf NRI Forum Kuwait, First Gulf Engineering Works and PPS Caterers were the main sponsors of the event.

 

Ashok Kumar welcomed the gathering. Anil Shetty and Pandari Shetty compered the entire event.
