Mangaluru, 16 Nov 2014: The Student Nurses Association of Father Muller School and College of Nursing presented a magicalFresher’s Day celebration with cultural extravaganza. The new batch of nursing students delighted the audience with their scintillating performances at the Academy Hall on 15th November 2014, and exhibited their outstanding talents.
The two hour cultural programme began at 2.30 pm with the prayer songby the students invoking blessings of the Almighty. Ms. Christy, student of final year P.B.Bsc Nursing accorded a warm welcome to the guests and the audience. It was followed by a breath-taking moments of song, dance & art by the newcomers of the Institutes of Nursing and presented a memorable cultural evening and enthralled the audience.The cultural variety was displayed by the students of School & College of Nursing.
Sr. Winnifred D’Souza, Principal, Father Muller College of Nursing congratulated the freshers for the wonderful display of their talents. Fr. Patrick Rodrigues, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions advised students to give equal importance to both curricular and extracurricular activities. Ms. Ruveena, final year GNM student, proposed vote of thanksand was grateful to the program coordinators who were the reason for success of the programme. Ms. Shiny Mathias & Ms. Emerald were the anchors of the programmeand they were outstanding .
