Mangalore: Swachh Bharat campaign at Milagres ward in city

Mangalore, 02 Nov 2014: The parish council of Our Lady of Miracles – Milagres, in association with parish units of Catholic Sabha, SVP, YCS and ICYM organized Swachh Bharat campaign in Milagres ward here on Saturday November 1.

Hundreds of parishioners joined together to clean the streets of Milagres ward here on Saturday morning.

The local corporator advocate Vinayaraj in his inaugural address said, ‘The cleanliness should begin from our homes. Mangalore is the sixth cleanest city in India that should motivate to strive to attain number 1 ranking. When the city becomes clean, we will have better environment that improve well being of city-folks,’ said Vinayaraj.
