Mumbai: St Joseph’s parish, Mira Road organizes parish sports competitions

Mumbai, 27 Oct 2014: St Joseph’s parish, Mira Road, here organized parish sports competitions on Sunday October 26. The preliminaries were held on Sunday October 19.

 

The sports meet involved almost all the parish community including priests, children and elderly.

 

Our Lady of Vailankanni ward won badminton men’s tourney, while St Nicholas ward were the runner up.

 

 

 

St Antony ward won football championship.

 

St Joseph’s ward won throw ball tourney, while Mother of God were the runner up.

 

Our Lady of Perpetual Succor ward were the winner of collage competition, while St Nicholas ward were the runner up.

 

St Jerome ward were the winners of cooking on fire competition.

 

St Jerome ward were the winners of carom competition.

 

Infant Jesus ward were the winners of box cricket, while St Nicholas ward were the runner up.

 

St Joseph’s ward was the winners of slow-cycling, while St Nicholas ward were the runner up.

 

St Joseph’s ward was the winner of tele-games.
