Air India Express resumes direct flight between Mangalore & Kuwait

Mangalore, Oct 27, 2014: Air India Express resumed the direct flight from Mangalore to Kuwait here on Monday October 27 morning.

 

The flight departed from Mangalore International Airport on Monday at 7.30am.

 

 

Air India Express station manager Nagesh Shetty and others were present on the occasion.

 

Mangalore south MLA J R Lobo boarded the flight to Kuwait along with www.bellevision.com photo journalist John V Tauro. 

 

Air India Express stalled the direct flight a few months ago. NRI lobby including Konkani Overseas Returnees Welfare Association (KORWA) and MLA J R Lobo tried to restore the flight by follow ups with Air India Express authorities, union civil aviation minister and Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah.
