Jagruti Mahila Manch stages ’Fulak Sairik Zalya’ Drama at Vile Parle
Mumbai, 09 November 2010: ’Fulak Sairik Zala’ drama authored by Joker Cascia was staged by Jagruti Mahila Manch (Regd.) Vile Parle East under the banner of Mumbai North Central District Ladies Congress (I) Committee on 6th November at Navinbai Takkar Auditorium, Vile Parle.
The show was organised by Mrs. Winny D’Souza, District President of Mumbai North-Central District Mahila Congress (I) Committee. The corporator Mr. Jayanti Chiroy corporator was the chief guest of the programme and Mrs. Alice Johnson was the guest of honour.
The drama was staged by the "Kutam Konkani Weekly Drama Group" under the direction of Mr. Francis Olivera. Drama Writer, Director, Song Composer: Joker Cascia, Producer (Nirvahak): Henry D’Paula, Kanjurmarg. The artist of the drama were Robert Noronha Kallianpur (Daniel DSouza), Julie Vaz Marol (Winnie Soz), Edwin Banz Sastan (Edie), Hilda DSouza Pangal (Ritabai), Florine Mathias Kanajar (Fula), Cyril Castelino (Ron Leo) and Libert Ollivera (Richcha). Mr. Jerry Veigas beautifully compered the programme.
Fulak Soirik Zalya staged by KCWA Bhayandar
Konkani Catholic Welfare Association, (KCWA) Bhayandar, celebrated its 5th Annual Function, on Friday 5th Nov. 2010 at Our Lady of Nazareth School Quadrangle, Bhayandar (w).
Rev. Fr. Allywn D’Silva, parish priest was the chief guest and Rev Fr. Agnalo Fernandes asst. Priest of Our Lady of Nazareth Church, Bhayandar (w) was the guest of the Function. Mr. Mathias Lobo Vice President welcomed and introduced the guest.
Mr. Ronald D’Costa, Secretary read the report of KCWA. Mr. George A. Sequeira, President of the association acknowledged the support received from parish priest and Konkani speaking people of Bhayandar. He also told the people to speak Konkani which is our mother tongue and teach to the children so that Konkani language will remain forever. Rev. Fr. Allywn D’Silva, chief guest released the Souvenir of KCWA to mark the occasion.
Mr. John Crasta, Treasurer, gave vote of thanks. Smt. Severine Lobo compared the stage function. Around 500 Konkani speaking were present.
A Konkani comedy drama "Fulak Soirik Zalya!" written & songs composed by Jocker cacisa, Directed by Francis Olivera, Padukone was played.
