Udupi: Badk, Tulu tele-film adjudged excellent movie at Chitrotsav - 2014

Udupi, 08 Oct 2014: Badk, first Tulu movie of K K Productions, Moodubelle, near here has found success by introducing rural talent.  The social evils such as betting and superstitious beliefs that has been depicted in the movie indeed contributed for its success.

 

The movie hovers on the life of a rich man who loses his family, social status and becomes a destitute owing to his addiction to gambling, drinking, heavy indebtedness, faith in superstitious beliefs that caused his fall.

 

Badk, Tulu movie bagged Excellent short movie award, during the Kiru Chitrotsav – 2014 programme that was held at Vidyaniketan education institution’s auditorium, jointly organized by UNICEF Prasara Bharati national award recipient Disha Communications, Katpady, near here recently.

 

 

Badk, casts Srikant and Prabhakar Acharya Edmer bagged Top actor award among 9 tele-films that were screened on the occasion.

 

It was adjudged second Top movie for creating mass awareness on social evils such as gambling, alcohol addiction, and blind beliefs.
