Mumbai, 05 Oct 2014: A community prospers when it comes to mainstream of society by shunning its caste origins. When everyone mixes freely; the entire society prospers. When a community is enlightened of its history, the entire community voluntarily unites. There is no-one untouchable, Rajaka signifies purity and Rajaka community are always people of good character, said Chandrashekar Palettady, president of Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha, Maharashtra.
Palettady was speaking after launching Rajaka Varte, twin-language quarterly that was brought out by Rajaka Sangha Mumbai® during a function held at Pejavar mutt branch, Prabhat Colony, Santacruz (East) here on Saturday October 4.
Paletady further said that Rajaka Sangha Mumbai® with a history of 78-years of would have fostered community bonds had they launched their publication 25 years ago. Even then, its not too late, the quarterly bulletin would further give fillip to the community bonds, said Palettady.
Rajaka Sangha Mumbai® president Satish P Salian inaugurated the programme.
Kannada Patrakartara Sangha, Maharashtra honorary chief secretary Rons Bantwal was the guest of honor.
Speaking on the occasion, Rons Bantwal said that a community’s bulletin indeed fosters bond among brethrens. It also gives an opportunity for the community brethren to explore their talent.
