Son kills his drunkard father in Belthangady

Belthangady, 05 Oct 2014: Fed up of the daily fights that his father used to pick up at home in an inebriated state, a son ended up killing his drunkard father in a fit of rage, at Maddadka in Belthangady on Friday night.

 

The accused is Saddam (21) and the deceased is Mohammad (55).

The deceased is survived by three sons and four daughters. It is said that Saddam had returned from Mumbai just six months ago for a medical treatment. It is said that fights between the father and the son was a common scene and even on Friday drunk Mohammed had picked up a fight with Saddam.

 

Raged Saddam had reportedly retaliated violently by strangulating the father with a rope rendering him death. The Belthangady police have arrested Saddam and registered a case.
