ICYM Shirva deanery organizes Yuva Samagam at Pamboor

Udupi, 1 Sep 2014: ICYM Shirva deanery organized Yuva Samagam, at Holy Cross parish, Pamboor, near here on Sunday August 31.

 

Shirva deanery ICYM director Fr Paul Rego presided the programme.

 

Udupi diocesan youth director Fr Edwin D’Souza, Pamboor parish council vice president Prakash Noronha and secretary Asumtha D’Souza, ICYM Pamboor parish unit animator Lucas D’Souza, Uzwaad – Konkiani Monthly editor Fr Chetan Lobo, ICYM Pamboor parish unit president Marrick Castelino and secretary Jenisha Rodrigues jointly inaugurated the programme here on Sunday morning.

 

 

Lucas D’Souza in his talk laid importance to prime youth and its impact. Fr Chetan spoke on role of youth in a family. Fr Paul Rego offered the Thanksgiving Mass among the youth on the occasion.

 

Fr Edwin conducted some fun games during the afternoon session. Fr Leslie D’Souza, Fr John Baptist, Bro Arun, Professor Vincent Alva were present.

 

Nearly 235 youth from the deanery participated in Yuva Samagam.
