Udupi/M’belle: Ferns Complex of shopping centre inaugurated

Udupi/M’belle, Sep 01, 2014 : The Ferns Complex comprising of shopping centre with 10 shops was inaugurated and blessed on Monday, 1 September 2014 at 9.45 am in Moodubelle.

 

Rajendra Shetty, president of Belle Grama Panchayat inaugurated the Ferns Complex by cutting the ribbon and Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes, parish priest of Moodubelle blessed the structure and the shops.

 

 

A brief stage programme was held thereafter in which Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes who is celebrating 67th birthday on 1 September 2014 was honoured by the proprietor of the Ferns Complex, Gerald Fernandes and his family members by offering him a flower bouquet. Rajendra Shetty and Devdas Hebbar also felicitated Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes and on behalf of the villagers offered him a fruit basket.

 

Speaking at this occasion, Rajendra Shetty and Devdas Hebbar pointed out the difficulties under which Gerald Fernandes had brought up the complex and wished him well. Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes who had blessed the complex  earlier, wished success to Gerald Fernandes and his family in the business.

 

Mrs. Jacintha D’Souza-vice president of Belle Grama Panchayat and Mrs. Benny Quadros, PDO were present for the inauguration function.

 

Joy Fernandes compeered and welcomed the gathering and Gerald Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks.
