Mangalore, Aug 07, 2014 : Rang, Tulu movie by Kateeleshwari Combines Productions will be screened in Mangalore and Udupi on Friday August 8, said Sukpal Polali, executive producer of movie.
Addressing the media persons during a media conference held at Cinepolis multiplex theater, here on Wednesday August 6, Sukpal said, ‘The special attraction is famous bollywood comedian Johnny Lever in a special role in the movie. The songs of the movie have come out from the innovative ideas of famous music director of south India Manikant Kadri. Out of the five songs, ‘Premanathe Pass Athe’ song has already become a hit,’ said Sukpal.
The film will be released in 12 theatres of Mangaore and Udupi on Friday August 8. The movie will be screened at Suchithra, Big Cinemas, PVR Multiplex theater in Mangalore. In Udupi - Kalpana theatre, in Manipal Inox theatre, Bantwal- BC Road Nakshathra theater, Puttur - Aruna theater, Beltangady - Bharath theater and other theatres of Karkal and Moodbidri, added Sukpal.
The entertaining casts include Devadas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Satish Bandale.
‘The movie has been shot in and around Mangalore in just 40 days. We do not have the exact estimation of the money spent for the movie but I can say that the movie has cost more than Rs one crore. We never compromised on quality,’ said Sukpal.
Tulu theater comedian Devadas Kapikad who has acted in the lead role said, ‘There were no restrictions on the artistes and each one given his best in acting and enjoyed in doing so. The new artistes were given training ahead of shooting.
The movie directors Suhan Prasad, Vismay Vinayak, Pramila Dev and others were present at the press meet.
