Udupi: RCI - Shankarapura organizes Aatid Onji Dina Celebrations

Udupi, 2 Aug 2014: At the joint aegis of Rotary Club International (RCI) - Shankarapura and Inner Wheel Club – Shankarapura, organized the celebrations of Aatid Onji Dina (A day in Aasada month of Tulu calendar) here on Monday July 28.

 

Purushotam Aithal, a businessman from Perdoor, near here was the chief guest who entertained the gathering with humour.

 

 

Keeping the tradition and culture of costal Karnataka, this year also, the menu was selected specially for this occasion. Sumptuous vegetarian food served in banana leaves and was enjoyed by one and all.

 

M G Nagendra, assistant governor of zone III, Rotary district 3180 delivered keynote address.

 

TCI – Shankarapura president Jerome Rodrigues welcomed the gathering.  The secretary Clifford D’Mello proposed vote of thanks.
