Mogaveers Bahrain conclude colourful event on occassion of Decennial celebrations

Bahrain, 06 May 2014: Mogaveers Bahrain one of the oldest community organisation of Mogaveers in Bahrain recently as a part of their decennial celebration concluded a colourful vibrant event at Indian Club Manama, Bahrain witnessed by a large number of community members. Under the leadership of the current leader President Leeladhar Baikampady the programme was well organised and appreciated by the community members. The first programme of the decennial celebration kicked off very well with professionally managed with pouring applauds from the Kannada - Tulu speaking audience who appreciated the event.
Dr. Deviprasad S. one of the youth entrepreneur of Mogaveers and a doctor by profession, came all the way from Mangalore as the Chief Guest who inaugurated the programme with the traditional lighting the lamp. Soon the new committee formal take over was done on the same stage with the Committee Members presence. All the executives along with the Chief Guest arrived amidst the traditionally erected main door having photo of Shree Kshetra Baghwadi on to the stage wherein the Chief Guest welcomed the new committee members with offering of shawl and beetle leaves in a traditional way.
Guest of honour, well known entrepreneur from Mahe - Puducheri, Sathyajith unfurled the newly designed logo of the decennial celebration of Mogaveers Bahrain while Dr. Deviprasad revealed the year long programme list of the decennial celebrations.
Colourful cultural programme was presented by the artistes who arrived from Mangalore on invitation comprising of the famous Navinchandra Koppa, Kalavathi Dayanand, Jagdish Puthur, Deepakraj Ullal and Chandrashekar Suvarna, Yermal. Their presentation gave a real traditional touch for the days programme. Local artistes too gave fruitful contribution to the days programme a combination of dance and drama which went on very well and applauded by the audience. Added attraction was exhibiting of the folk activities and community practices showcasing ’bali utsava’ and skits of ’Parashurama’ which gave the audience the feel of the real traditions of the community. Photos of the earlier programmes of Mogaveers Bahrain was presented on the big back screen.
Shabari International and Thenku Yermal Friends were the Main Sponsors of the event while Global Associates of Mangalore were the Co-Sponsors.
Leaders of other Mogaveer Associations arrived as Guests from UAE and Saudi Arabia to grace the function. General Secretary Navin Karkera introduced the guests to the audience while President Leeladhar Baikampady honoured them. Chandrashekar L. Mendon introduced the new committee members to all the guests. All the Guests, Artistes and Sponsors were felicitated on the stage.
Entertainment Secretary, Suresh Amin concluded the event with vote of thanks. Naveenchandra Koppa conducted the whole programme in his own style winning hearts of all the audience who applauded.
