Muscat: Bellevision Muscat Celebrate Easter and Annual Day

Muscat / Sultanate of Oman, 27 Apr 2014: Bellevision Muscat celebrated its annual day as well as Easter here on Friday April 25.  The event was attended by a group of over 50 members who made the day lively, energetic and enjoyable.  It was indeed heartening to see many new members actively participated in all activities.  The day was spent in a true spirit of camaraderie.

The programme began on Friday at 12.45pm with a prayer followed by an introduction by comperer Lawrence Alva.
Bellevision Muscat president Monthu Martis welcomed the gathering. The secretary Reshma Rodrigues presented the annual report.

The varieties of games for all age-groups were held on the occasion. Everyone participated and many prizes were won.  Amongst the prize winners were Brian and Roshwal, Aaron and Lesvita (children) while amongst the adults were Mili and Loyal.

 

Snacks were served with cold drinks. The bar was declared open. After 30 minutes of break the party resumed.

Numbers of songs in different languages were sung by Lawrence Noronha, Prakash and Walter Mendonca.

Fredrick D’Souza thanked everyone and praised the community for their humbleness.

Walter Mendonca said the prayer before the meal.  The lunch was a sumptuous Chicken Biryani, Raita and Pickle topped up by classical Mangalorean Vorn.

Soon after lunch, Lawrence Alva and Monthu Martis conducted the housie-housie game.

The programme concluded by sponsors giving away prizes to the winners and a photograph session of the whole group and the Committee members.
