Qatar: MCC Presents Dabazo 2014 - Norbert Periera Musical Nite to Packed Audiences

Doha / State of Qatar, 26 Apr 2014: Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC) Qatar presented their mega annual event, Dabazo 2014 - Norbert Periera Musical Nite at  Al Ghazal Hall , here on Friday April 25.

 

Norbert Periera along with his music troupe comprising Rony DCnha, Anita D’Souza, Nancy Periera, Rupert Lobo, Naveen Pinto, Preema Pinto, Harry Correa, Eva Pinto, Alphonse D’Silva, Nina Fernandes, Vincent Fernandes presented melodious Konkani hit numbers to the packed audiences here on Friday evening. Roshan D’Souza presented the music along with Richard, Sachin, Pradeep Menezes and Manoj.

 

Nellu Permannur, Sunil Crasta and Shawn Rodrigues enthralled the gathering with rib tickling jokes and mimicry.

 

Dazzling Stars of Qatar presented beautiful dance item Oh Maria. The dancers were Alistair, Christie, Royston, Clarissa, Ashton, Amelita, Bresly and Ruth Quadros and the choreographer was Shweta V B.

 

Shetkar dance was presented by Anushka, Joylin, Nadine and Jessica D’Souza and the choreographer was Affeney D’Souza.

 

 

Meera …. Meera dance number was performed by  Denzil, Mishal, Delita, Jyothi and Karen Correa, the choreographer was Vijaya D’Souza  and Ami Tarnate dance item was performed by Glen, Kiran, Savios, Naveen and Ashriyan D’Souza.

 

Captain R Ravi Kumar, defense adviser for Qatar Embassy of India was the chief guest of the programme.

 

Captain Kumar lauded the untiring efforts of MCC Qatar in bolstering socio-cultural activities for the larger benefit of community.  He also released the bulletin, Sungand, on the same occasion.

 

Fr Anand George Castelino OFM Cap of Konkani speaking community at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Doha Qatar was the guest of honor.

 

Fr Castelino presented mementoes to singers, musicians and dancers during the programme.
