Mangalore: Easter, Feast of Rosen Lord Celebrated with Fervor in Parishes across Diocese

Mangalore, 20 Apr 2014: Easter, the feast of Risen Lord was celebrated in 113 parishes of Mangalore diocese here on Saturday April 19 during 7.00pm festal Eucharistic Celebration.

 

Meanwhile, Easter was celebrated as per the tradition during midnight Holy Mass in monasteries with the congregation and a few laities living in the nieghbourhood.

 

 

Easter – special Holy Masses were held on Sunday April 20 morning, for the benefit of all those parishioners who could not attend the festal celebrations on Saturday evening.

 

It was indeed an orderly celebration involving the clergies, laities and faithful who were present in large numbers on the occasion.
