Mumbai: Second Annual Convocation Ceremony at St John Technical Campus, Palghar

Mumbai, 18 Mar 2014 : The second annual convocation ceremony at St John Technical Campus for 316 students graduating from engineering, pharmacy and management disciplines was held at their campus, Palghar, near here on Saturday March 15.
The metro-based Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies former director Dr Stephen D’Silva was the chief guest of the occasion.
Bombay archdiocese auxiliary Bishop Bosco Penha presided the function, addressed the students and inspired them with his motivational talks.
The campus minister Fr John Rumao prayed for and blessed the graduate students.
Aldel Education Trust chairman Albert W D’Souza, St John Technical Campus advisor Dr S Krishnamurthy, engineering college principal Dr Satish N Takalikar, pharmacy college principal Dr Savita J Tauro and dean Thomas Lobo expressed their pride and joy, in seeing the students receiving their convocation degrees. They conveyed their best wishes to the students for all their future endeavors.
The highlight of the ceremony was the felicitation of the University topper, Saloni Jain who secured I rank at the final year B Pharm exam held in 2013 among the students of 25 Pharmacy colleges.
Some of the graduate students shared their memories and experiences in St John Technical Campus. It was also a time for nostalgia as the students bonded with each other and the faculty.
The formal convocation ceremony was concluded by singing the National Anthem.
