Mangalore: Soft skills Training Programme at Government First Grade College, Haleyangadi

Mangalore, 16 mar 2014: The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of Government First  Grade College, Haleyangadi  in collaboration with MSNM Besant Institute of PG Studies organised a workshop on “ Soft Skills” for the benefit of final year students of the college. Mr. Sachin R Chandra and Mrs. Deeksha S Shetty from Besant Institute were the resource persons for this training program. During the formal inaugural session, Mr. Santhosh Pinto Shirthady, Coordinator of the Career Guidance and Placement Cell welcomed the gathering and also introduced resource persons to the audience.

 

 

 While addressing the students Dr. Narayan Kayarkatte, Director, Besant Institute, focused on the importance of life skills among the students. This workshop gave students information on soft skills like  Interpersonal skills, Team spirit, Social grace, Business etiquette, Negotiation skills, Behavioural traits such as attitude, motivation and time management.Prof. M. Vishwanatha Bhat, Principal, presided over the function. Mr. Suresh Shenoy assisted in organizing the programme. Ms Suma anchored the programme. Ms Kavitha proposed vote of thanks. Ms Lavanya and team invoked the blessings of God.
