Bangalore : Karnataka Team bags All India Volleyball Tourney for Physically-Handicapped

Bangalore, Mar 4, 2014 : The 3-day fourth All India Volleyball Tournament for physically-handicapped was held at Devanahalli here from Saturday March 1 to Monday March 3.
 

Karnataka team defeated Tamil Nadu in the finals.  Karnataka team was award cash prize of Rs 40,000 and Tamil Nadu team was awarded cash prize of Rs 25,000 and trophy each.

 

Nagaraj of Andhra Pradesh adjudged the best player of tournament.
 

These brave physically-challenged boys indeed showed their grit and determination to play volleyball.
 

A large number of Devanahalli residents including Hollywood Town resident Yvonne Robert were present during the tourney.
