M’lore: Students of second year G N M successfully conduct Mass Health Education program

Mangalore, 12 Feb 2014: Father Muller Hospital Nursing School is well known in providing quality education for its students. The students are exposed to the vast knowledge through the internal classes, seminars field trips, educational events & Health awareness programs.
On this line, the students of II Year G.N.M students coordinated a Health Education on the need of the hour "Stress Management" on 8th February, 2014. This event was arranged in the De-Addiction Ward of Father Muller Charitable Institutions at 9 a.m and attended by students and a few prominent personalities.
The wonderful educational event began with invoking choicest blessings from the Almighty by a prayer song. Ms. Plavita Olivia Crasta accorded a grand welcome to the audience and the guests. A skit on the ill effects of all forms of Addiction on the Society was depicted and wonderfully presented by Ms. Jovita & team. Following this, the gathering was familiarized with the solutions and tips to reduce Stress in their daily routines with effective Audio Visual aids.
The event filled with hilarious skits and dances, accompanied by interesting games were well appreciated by the audience and provided total entertainment and was greatly applauded by the audience.
Ms. Vidya proposed the vote of thanks and appreciated the gathering for their presence. The event was greatly benefitted by the inmates of the De-Addiction unit.
The In-charge of the unit Mrs. Irene, counsellors of the unit, Mr. Shripati Bhat and Mrs. Priya, Mr. Rudresh, the Assistant Nursing Superintendent & faculty of Father Muller School of Nursing & College of Nursing were present for the event.
The programme concluded at 11 a.m with the refreshments.
